Kenwood's KHS-10 series is the heavy duty headset in the ProTalk accessory range, and the OH is the over-the-head version with a noise-cancelling boom microphone.

Over-the-head is the choice where the wearer keeps the headset on for a full shift. The weight sits on the crown rather than pulling on the ears, which is the difference between an hour of comfort and eight.

The noise-cancelling boom is what the radio on the other end hears. On a plant floor or a loading dock the microphone rejects the room so the voice carries, rather than sending both and leaving the listener to separate them.
