A mileage claim is not a warehouse coverage guarantee
Consumer-radio distance claims are typically poor predictors of performance around steel, concrete, machinery and dense inventory. A low purchase price can disappear after repeated device failures, battery shortages, unclear audio and incompatible replacements. Professional radios can be matched to the environment, programmed uniformly and supported with durable clips, remote microphones, batteries and multi-unit chargers. Where hazardous locations are involved, only properly certified radio and battery configurations should be considered.
