Who it is for

The MOTOTRBO R7 is Motorola's rugged digital portable for sites where a radio is normally hard to hear: Motorola quotes 102 phons of loudness out of the box, an extra loud profile at 107 phons, adaptive dual-microphone noise suppression for machinery and stadium noise, and feedback suppression for users standing close together. The housing is sealed to IP66 and IP68 and was designed to resist disinfectants and decontamination substances, which is why CMI lists it for hospital and medical-center teams as well as warehouses, logistics and operations. This is the VHF model, which suits open ground and long sightlines; it has a full keypad, for users who enter contacts or text.
