Motorola CLPe PMLN8064 Magnetic Case Kit

The PMLN8064 is Motorola's magnetic case kit for the CLPe Series, listed by that name in the CLP Series accessory table.

A magnetic case solves a problem a belt clip cannot. Not every uniform has a belt: an apron, a tabard, a suit jacket, a dress. The magnet holds the radio through the fabric, so the CLPe can sit on a lapel or a pocket line rather than being the one visible piece of equipment on an otherwise presentable outfit. On a radio Motorola built to be discreet and to weigh 3.35 oz, that is the accessory that lets the design do its job.
