Motorola RLN6309 Six Unit Multi Charger RDU, RDV, RDx Series

The RLN6309 is Motorola's multi-unit charger kit for the RDx Series, listed in the chargers table of the RDx user guide as the Multi Unit Charger (MUC) Kit for North America. Six radios charge from one outlet, which is the practical reason most sites buy one: a wall of individual trays becomes a single place where the shift's radios are put down and picked up.

The charger doubles as a programming tool. The RDx user guide carries its own section on cloning radios using a multi-unit charger, so a configured radio can push its channel plan to the rest of the fleet through the tray, with no cable and no computer. On a fleet of a dozen radios that turns a channel change from an evening's work into a few minutes.

Motorola's standing advice about pairing applies: its batteries are designed specifically to be used with a Motorola Solutions charger and the reverse, and charging in non-Motorola equipment may damage the battery and void its warranty.
