The Motorola TLK 25 Wi-Fi is a compact wearable WAVE PTX device for discreet team communication over an organization’s Wi-Fi network. Its full-front PTT control, voice assistant and dual status LEDs help users communicate without carrying a conventional handheld radio.

Who it is for

The TLK 25 is Motorola's wearable WAVE PTX device for a team that should not be seen holding a radio: hospital and clinic staff, hotel and retail floor teams, campus staff. It is worn, driven by a full-front push-to-talk control and a voice assistant, and heard through an earpiece. This is the Wi-Fi only model: Motorola states it uses your wireless internet connection to get communications online, so coverage is your Wi-Fi. Both models carry dedicated emergency features within the WAVE PTX ecosystem. An active WAVE PTX subscription is required; CMI will confirm the service arrangement before you order.

Licence

No FCC business radio licence is needed; the TLK 25 talks over Wi-Fi under a WAVE PTX subscription rather than on licensed radio frequencies.

Motorola's TLK 25 data sheet names the PMLN8536 earpiece with PTT and voice assistant buttons, the PMLN8538 badge clip, the PMLN8537 holster, the PMKN4294 USB-C charging cable, the PMPN4660 magnetic multi-unit charger and the PMLN8773A earpiece. CMI lists the PMLN8536 earpiece for the TLK 25 and the PMPN4660 multi-unit charger for the TLK 25.
