Endless Communications TH-682 LTE Push-to-Talk Portable Radio
The Endless Communications TH-682 is a push-to-talk radio that works over the cellular network rather than over VHF or UHF, so its range follows carrier coverage instead of line of sight. It is the larger of our two Endless handhelds and is built for patrol and field work where a supervisor needs to know where people are. A 1.77 inch colour display at 160 by 128 pixels shows contacts and status at a glance, and built-in GPS reports position back to a dispatcher. The body measures 135 x 60 x 40 mm. Supplied with a belt clip and with a charger and power cord.
Endless also provides web-based tracking and dispatch software that locates every unit nationwide, records transmissions for later review, raises geofence and excessive-speed alerts, and lets a supervisor talk to the fleet from a desktop, with training and support included. Contact us for the cellular bands, the ingress rating and the battery configuration on current stock, which vary by build.

Who it is for
The TH-682 is an Endless Communications portable radio for teams that need built-in GPS tracking, GPS history, recorded calls and lone-worker check-ins wherever the cellular network reaches. Endless Communications describes push to talk over cellular as working like a walkie-talkie while using 4G LTE cellular data on existing cell phone towers, for nationwide coverage around the corner or across the country. For that supervisor, Endless lists GPS tracking built into every unit with a GPS trail kept for each one, recorded voice calls to review, and lone worker check-in times.
Licence
Using the TH-682 through its cellular data service does not require the customer to obtain an FCC Part 90 private land mobile radio licence. A compatible data and push-to-talk service is required, and CMI confirms the carrier options with you when you order.
