The BC-160 is a single-unit rapid desktop charger for ICOM BP-232 series lithium-ion battery packs. ICOM states a charge time of approximately 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the pack, which is short enough to turn a spare around inside a shift rather than overnight. One charger serves one radio or one loose pack; sites running several radios per shift usually pair one BC-160 per radio, or move to a six-bay multi-charger.
