ICOM F9011 / F9021 P25 Digital & Analog Portables VHF/UHF

The ICOM F9011/F9021 series supports P25 conventional, P25 trunking and analog conventional operation in one rugged public-safety portable. VHF F9011 and UHF F9021 models are available in non-display, display and full-keypad layouts for different user roles.

Who it is for

The F9011 and F9021 are full-size P25 portables for public safety and the agencies and contractors that interoperate with them: law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency management and critical infrastructure. They run P25 conventional, P25 trunking and analog in one radio, in layouts from a basic no-display model to a full keypad.

Size, weight and battery

• Size: 2.3 x 6.6 x 1.7 in (58.6 x 167 x 41.8 mm) with the BP-254 battery, projections not included.
• Weight: about 1.17 lb (533 g) with the BP-254.
• Battery: the supplied BP-254 (3040 mAh typical, 2900 mAh minimum) runs about 9 hours; the BP-237 case takes six AA cells for a field fallback. The BC-119NS and BC-121NS chargers refill the BP-254 in about 4 hours.
• Protection: IP67 dust-tight and waterproof on the radio and the BP-254 battery; MIL-STD-810.
• In the box: BP-254 battery, MB-115 belt clip and antenna (contents may differ by version).

Licence and system access

P25 radios operate on licensed public safety or business frequencies; a trunked system also needs the system owner's permission and programming, and encryption and OTAR need the right hardware and keys. CMI can walk you through what your system requires.

Accessories that fit

CMI connector code: I4 (Icom 14-pin). Icom's brochure names the HS-94 earphone headset for this radio when used with the required VS-1MC or VS-4MC PTT unit. The VS units, the HM-184 speaker microphone, the BP-254 battery and the BC-119NS and BC-121NS chargers are not listed online; ask CMI by part number.
