The ICOM IP501H provides wide-area push-to-talk over supported 4G LTE and 3G networks without requiring a customer-owned repeater system. Its familiar portable-radio controls support fast individual, group and all-call communication for teams working across cities, regions or dispersed sites.
- Network: supported LTE/3G bands using the applicable Icom SIM and service
- Calling: individual, group, talkgroup, multiplex talkgroup and all-call modes
- Conversation: simultaneous TalkListen full-duplex capability
- Safety: emergency, lone-worker and man-down functions
- Location and accessories: built-in GPS and Bluetooth on supported versions. Icom notes that GPS mapping software is required to use the GPS data.
- Durability: IP67/IP55/IP54 protection and more than 17 hours of operation with BP-272 under the stated duty cycle
