Motorola PMLN7189 Swivel G-Hook Earpiece With In-Line Mic and PTT for SL300

The PMLN7189 is Motorola's swivel earpiece with an in-line microphone and push-to-talk, listed in the MOTOTRBO SL300 accessory range.

The swivel is what makes an over-the-ear earpiece wearable by more than one person. Ears differ, and a fixed hook that sits correctly on one head presses on another; a swivel lets the same part be shared across a pooled fleet rather than allocated permanently.

The in-line push-to-talk keeps the radio where it is. On the SL Series, designed slim enough to disappear into a uniform, reaching for the radio to transmit gives away the whole point of the design. Motorola lists the PMLN7156 Mag One earbud with in-line microphone and push-to-talk in the same table as the lighter alternative.
