Motorola RAN4041A Pair of Replacement Antennas RDV5100

These are Motorola RAN4041 VHF helical antennas, supplied as a pair. Motorola's RDx Series user guide lists the part in its antenna table as a VHF helical antenna for 146 to 174 MHz.

Antenna frequency range is not a detail to approximate. An antenna cut for a band it is not being used on radiates less of the power the radio produces, which shows up as lost range rather than as a fault anyone can see. This one is the VHF part, and it belongs on a VHF radio.

Antennas are also among the most replaced parts on any fleet: they get bent in doorways, caught in vehicle doors and snapped off in pockets, and a damaged one costs range long before it stops working altogether. Supplied as a pair, which covers two radios or gives one radio a spare.
