Kenwood NX-P1300ISNUK 64CH ProTalk 5W Intrinsically Safe UHF Digital Business Radio

The NX-P1300ISNUK is the intrinsically safe version of Kenwood's NX-P1300NUK UHF ProTalk handheld. Kenwood approves it for Class I, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations, and for non-incendive use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D. That approval is the whole reason to specify this model over the standard one: on a site where it is required, a radio without it cannot be carried past the gate. Underneath the approval it is the same radio - 64 channels at 5 watts, 99 UHF preset frequencies, mixed zone operation so analog and digital channels sit in one zone, a battery saver with low battery warning, and a second programmable PTT button.
