Motorola PMLN6384 Six Unit Multi Charger Tray RM Series

The PMLN6384 is Motorola's multi-unit charger kit for the RM Series: six radios, one outlet, one place the whole shift's radios live overnight. Motorola's trifold describes it as a multi-unit charger with charge status LED lights, so each position reports its own state and nobody has to guess which radios are ready.

It does a second job that is easy to overlook. Motorola's user guide names the multi-unit charger, alongside the radio-to-radio cloning cable, as a way to copy settings between RM Series radios and between RM and RDX Series radios. A fleet can be brought onto a new channel plan from one configured radio while it charges, which on twelve or twenty radios is the difference between an evening and a minute.

One ordering note straight from Motorola: the user guide states that when ordering the multi-unit charger, the part number to order is PMLN6384, and that this is the North America kit.
