Motorola R2 Speaker Microphone (PMMN4149A)

This is the remote speaker microphone for Motorola's R2 radio, listed in the MOTOTRBO commercial accessory range.

A remote speaker microphone moves the speaker and the transmit button up to the shoulder or lapel while the radio stays on the belt. That is the difference between a radio that gets answered and one that gets missed, because the user no longer has to unclip anything to hear or reply.

It is matched to the R2 rather than universal. Connector styles differ across Motorola's ranges, so the radio model is what decides the part number and a microphone from another series will not fit.
